IKC- Your source for honest, proven genetics
.

10 years ago we committed ourselves to building a seedstock program unlike most in Illinois. We dedicated a functional Hereford herd (developed by 3 generations of Bliler's over 60 years) to the production of a genetically documented crossbred program.

To be a dependable, reputable source for replacement females and bulls.

The parameters-

Uniformity in type and size

Genetically consistent and documented

Truly functional and "middle of the road"- easy to calve, fertile females with adequate (not excessive) milk or growth, efficient performance, longevity, disposition

Introduce new genetics through the use of herd bulls

We have built our herd the old fashioned way- using bulls from programs we respect. We know how the bulls perform in Illinois' environment- earning their right to stay until next breeding season. If we like their calves, we will use a son- proof that we believe in our program.
